I'm 17 years old and want to lose weight please help!?

I want to lose weight soooo bad. I am 30 pounds overweight and have been so for 2 years. I started working out for a couple of months but left it due to the insignificant amount of food I was consuming which led me to become very weak. The reason why I haven't been able to adhere to a constant workout schedule is because I simply do not know what to eat! I need a sufficient workout plan that will keep me sustained until I shed at least 20-25 pounds. It is obvious one will not be able to lose weight if they gorge on junk food and then runs a mile. I asked my doctor but apparently my health-plan does not cover a workout/diet regimen. Can someone who is knowledgeable in the dietician area please give me a general diet plan? Thanks!

I have been very interested in both of these breeds. More so the saarloos wolfhound than the czw but it seems as if the saarloos is near impossible to obtain. I have read just about as many pros and cons about both the species that one can read and have some unanswered questions. Being from South Carolina I would like to know if the weather here would be too much for these breeds. Also I haven't found a clear answer to wether or not you can legally own one in the U.S. I have read how they may be banned in some states due to there wolf cross. I'm 20 and a year out of High School. My first year of college was awful. I have little interest in school. Last November I started studying Japanese and I'm doing very well. Good drugstore foundation to cover acne and redness?

I have mild to moderate acne, but from the dermatologist acne treatments my skin has gotten very red. I know foundation isn't going to really help it go away, but i'm so embarrassed by the redness. I've never worn foundation before and I don't really want to waste my money trying to find one that wont break me up. My skin is oily, but flaky hard to explain if you haven't gone on acne creams before. I know all about oil free, but I don't know what kinds to get. I also have VERY pale skin. Like albino (not literally) so not sure what brands will match me at there lightest. If you know about any foundations/concealers/powders whatever to cover the redness please share. Don't preach about not wearing foundation because if could break me out more. If you have experience with BAD skin and wearing makeup that doesn't harm it tell all. I'm willing to spend out of drugstores if I must. Though that can be expensive if I really like it. Hope someone can help.

Me and my wife did own to rest homes and urinary infection did cause symptoms like this or similar. I think that you just have to wait it out until the results. If it is so he will return to normal. It is a very strange thing how this infection causes this behaviour Give it time I am sure he will be Ok. But I do not know how when they get old that they get a urinary infection. How do I inquire on fixing a broken laptop? (HP, Pavillion dm4)?

Alright, so I broke my laptop, an HP, Pavilion dm4, recently. What happened was that the hinges of the laptop kept getting stuck and one of them eventually broke off. So the laptop was unevenly closing. So I took of the other hinge, for evenness. Little did I know, that they have tons of wires that they hide INSIDE the hinges. So, eventually after closing and opening a laptop with no hinges for about a week, one of the wires broke in half, and now the whole screen is discolored an you can't even see anything. It's terrible, I have to use my upstairs computer now, and it's summer so it's hot upstairs, so please, how do I fix this? Can I contact HP and get it replaced? Unfortunately I do not have the receipt for the laptop, but I have all the packaging.

How do I patch an underground spring coming under the house from underground footer?

At my mother's house, there is an underground spring making a 4ft sink hole under the house and a mini creek under there as well. it's entering through an apparent hole in the foundation footing underground. I'm told I have to dig down there from the outside and patch it somehow. What would be the best way to patch it once I dig it up on the outside (maybe 6ft underground). Is it possible to dig it up only at the spot where the water is entering, or would i have to dig up the entire perimeter to patch/seal it all? Any advice? Thanks in advance

I need some quick friend advice!?

So these 2 girls were never my best friends, but I was their best friend. For Christmas, one of them gave me and the other girl this present to go ice skating. (It's sorta a big deal...the closest indoor rink from where I live is 2 hours) And we're going tomorrow. I was super excited at Christmas time but now...not so much. I've been noticing these things that may seem judgmental, and ARE judgmental, but I just can't stand it. Second, they think I wear way too much makeup, when honestly...I just wear foundation, blush, bronzer, mascara, and a little eye shadow. And it's all natural-looking. So, pretty much what I'm saying is...I'm a lot girlier than they are, and they're being pretty judgmental about it. Am 21, uncircumcized and the foreskin of my penis doesn't get back like in most penis' uncircumcized at the time of an erection. It just stays like it is while erect or flacid. What's the best way to change my eating habits for good?

I should start out by saying that I've always been a very active person up until about 3 years ago. When I was in highschool I raced dirtbikes and played tons of sports. I was under 100lbs till my senior year when I "grew up" and weighed 135, which I respectably say that was my ideal weight. I was still very active and ate healthy. My only problem was my very active and large appetite. Which back then was ok, because I was active. So, I got hurt one year, got on birth control, and started a job where I sat on my butt 8 hours a day. I gained 40lbs in 2 months. Now I am up to 180 since then. My problem being, my large appetite never went away. Recently I've started to exercise regularly, and I'm also trying to diet and eat healthy. But since I've been exercising, my appetite is getting larger and I'm wanting to consume more carbs and calories since I'm burning them off. My question is, how do I fight the cravings and temptations gorge down an entire cow? I can't afford any specialty shakes or smoothies from the diet companies, half the time they don't work anyways. I want to be the healthy, active me again. What should I do?

Boyfriend's actions confused me.....?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about two months. He is 32 and I am 27. We met online and really hit it off. We compliment. We had been seeing each other maybe 2-4 days a week and chatting on the phone at night. About three weeks ago or so the shower at my apartment broke and was leaking into the walls and into the ceiling below causing major problems, and it left me without a shower. I work everyday and I need a shower, and upon hearing this problem my boyfriend offered to let me stay with him until it got fixed, and I was told by the plumber it would be about a week to a week and a half tops. Needless to say, one week turned into two and it's still not fixed today. On Tuesday after getting to his apartment around 9:30, he tells me that he hates the situation I'm in but he doesn't think us seeing each other everyday at this time in our relationship is the best thing to do, and I agree, but I cannot control the situation I am in. I have inquired with the plumber every few days to no avail, so my hands are really tied and he knows that. Upon telling me this, he also says he didn't realize the transition would be so hard for me, from seeing me a few days a week to a full time relationship and he's not sure how to handle it. He said, however, when he thinks about me not being there are night with him he misses me and gets sad, but on the other hand he wants time to do his things like play his guitar and write music and be alone. He has a history of depression and I really think he's going through a hard time right now. He said we should look at this as a positive part of our relationship and not a negative one if we want our relationship to be as healthy as it can be. He told me he loved me and he genuinely cares about me and appreciates everything about me. The entire conversation he was not cold and was comforting towards me and said it was very hard to tell me this because he didn't want to hurt me because I am so kind and nice towards him. But I'm confused. Did he break up with me? Or does he still care about me and wants a little room since I've been staying with him for a few weeks? He told me he loves me and cares about me a lot, and held me and kissed me before bed that night. He said he understands I'm hurt but he'd rather be honest and communicate with me than stuff his feelings inside and grow to resent me. He called me last night to say hello and check in, and said he would talk to me today. He texted me this morning and said he wasn't going to work but to have a good day, and said take care. He is slowly ending things with me? What is he doing? He said he wants to be with me and spend time with me and he enjoys everything we have and that he feels this needs to happen or else it will be the demise of our relationship. Is this supposed to happen to my body when bulking up?

Okay so I am a very lean guy, I weigh 132, I am five eight, 28 inch waist, seven percent body fat, but since I was casted as gaston for my ballet company's production i was asked to bulk up, so i have been doing three sets of eight, of the heaviest possible weight, i have been gorging on everything!! I have been eating thee protein shakes a day, an eight ounce chicken breast for lunch with rice, for dinner oatmeal, and for breakfast six egg white omelette sandwich, no cheese, a pound of strawberies, a banana, and a half a cup of peanut butter, that is the minimum, and i only eat healthy, very low in fat or no fat, but i have been eatinh a lot!! it's crazy, i feel like i'm getting bigger in a muscular sense, but in mhy stomach i lost my six pack, it's getting a little flab like it's a flat tummy but i lost my pack, what the hell!! i do cardio four times a week, and strength for three times. suggestions?

SPF to wear under Make up?

I'm in need of something with SPF 50 to wear under foundation. At the moment, I'm just using a regular Boots suncream with SPF 50, but it makes me look like a greaseball. I am in Jacksonville Florida and there is a graduate chapter here. How much make up should I wear?

I never wear it but I want to start. I'm 18 and just want a change :) I was thinking just a concealer for dark circles and the few blemishes I have, MAYBE a light foundation, and some eyeliner. I think wearing a super dark, smokey, eye look looks reallllly pretty for night and stuff. Is this good to start with? I know a lot about make up but I just don't wear it haha. Is foundation an adornment?

Becoz i dont agree that it is. I think if you have acne you can use it to conceal the acne just to make you look presentable and fresh faced, unless theres nothing too wrong with your skin but you just wear it to make your skin look flawless or different coloured from your original skin colour. I dont think this attracts the opposite sex unless anthing else is worn with it.

Covergirl Natureluxe liquid foundation?

The coverage is fantastic and it made my skin look fresh and dewy, however, if you have oily skin I recommend avoiding this foundation as it is moisturizing so it makes your skin more oily and causes the makeup to slip and slide. But if you really want to use it, you apply it either using a makeup sponge and dabbing it on, using a foundation brush and apply it in criss-cross motions to avoid streaking, or using clean fingers to rub it in. Positive HPT... but I'm on birth control...?

I've been on the Nuva Ring for a month now. When I went to the doctor's I told them that I wanted a morning after pill, and then to inquire about a different method(other than condoms) of birth control. They performed a pregnancy test at that time and it was negative. They gave me the morning after pill, and the Nuva Ring and told me that I could start using the Nuva Ring immediately. They also informed me that it takes a week for the Nuva Ring to kick in. I went home, took the morning after pill, and then started the birth control. I took it out after 3 weeks, as instructed, and my period never came. I finally took a pregnancy test today to rule it out, and it came out positive. I'm so confused. Has this happened to any one else before? Any advice is much appreciated.

I sent my grandson in New Zealand some dollars for his birthday. The package was very securely sealed. It never arrived. I have sent numerous packages to him and he has always received them. Post Office staff would only know what was in the package by scanning it. Obviously then the staff who scanned it saw the dollars and stole them. Can't seem to lose last 15-20 lbs?

I'm 5'9 and weigh 164 lbs. Had a baby 10 months ago and gained about 40 lbs or so. I have been working with a trainer doing weight/strength training 3 times a week for 2 months. Running about 2 miles a week on my own. I'm not really dieting, but I eat pretty well during the week. On the weekends, I admit-I cheat a little. But I don't gorge myself or go crazy or anything. I just can't seem to lose this weight. My trainer says its what I eat, but I'm not eating that bad! And whenever I do actually diet, I still can't lose the weight! I just can't break past 164 lbs. Is feeding your dogs 2 times a day better than leaving food out all the time?

I have 4 dogs,the youngest is a Pomeranian puppy and she is 6 months old.Our 3 older dogs range from 8-13 years old and we have always left food out for them to graze. I'm 13, 5'3, and 150lbs. I take about 15 minutes for doing my makeup. First, I wash my face and put on moisterizer and chapstick. Then, I start putting on some eye primer, and then slowly move on to my face primer. I always put pencil eyeliner on my top and bottom lid first . After that, I put on liquid eyeliner or gel eyeliner on my top lid, on top of the pencil eyeliner. I like to switch up the types of eyeliner I use each day. So one day, I might be wearing liquid eyeliner, and the next, I might be wearing gel eyeliner. Then, I fill in my eyebrows. After that, I like to curl my eyelashes and put on eyelash primer. While the primer is drying, I like to use my eyelash brush and brush out any clumps of primer. Then, I apply mascara and then brush it out when its drying. After that is all done, I apply some lipliner. Then slower fill it in some a little bit of lipstick. Yes based off of all this information he is in fact trying to manipulate you by guilt. It doesnt take a psychology major to know how to manipulate someone, all you really have to do is take any emotion (fear, sadness, anger, guilt, happyness, etc.) and use it to control someone. For example lets say i have a girlfriend and she wants to go out with a bunch of guys, and i dont want her to but i decide not to say anything straight forward, or decide to atleast ruin the night for her. If i wanted to manipulate her into not going or feeling bad by guilt I could say something like, "well have fun while im sitting alone here with nothing to do." Even if she really wanted to go there is no way she could have a good time if she cared for me because she would keep thinking about the comment i made and dwell on it, therefore I would be controlling her emotions, and actions which would be manipulating her. By threatening to not talk to you he is using a double whammy of Guilt and Fear. He is hoping that by letting you know that he doesnt want you to be with his friend, that you will feel guilty enough to not hang out with him. He is using fear in hopes that you would be afraid of him not talking to you anymore, so that you would stop talking to him. This guy is trying to be manipulating by controlling your emotions, and therefore controlling your actions but remember you can only be manipulated if you let them. My advice is next time he says something like this, do exactly what he doesnt want you to my reasoning for this is, first you dont want a manipulating guy in your life trust me all your life he will be controlling you and forming you to what he wants. Searching for wisdom...I refuse to be like everyone else?

Have you ever been in a position where everything you stand for is different than everyone (almost) else? It feels like every opinion I have had lately has had some form of opposition. I am just very different than everyone else. I am smart, have learned that the majority of people are not right on everything. For instance, when it comes to buying stocks, buying stocks in what few have bought and selling stocks when most will not sell (they are actually buying) makes the most money. When it comes to finding a job, inquiring in places the majority of people have not looked, or simply inquiring at places you know have great need, can sometimes get you the best job. This wisdom I have, but it does not agree with the majority of people , and I am frustrated with people not agreeing with me. I want to bring wisdom into the lives of other people and share. There's no sense in having wisdom and not sharing it. So what should I do? How should I change, given that I refuse to compromise on things I know are wise opinions? I am tired of being (mostly) silent. I want to be heard.

I use Clearasil cleansing pads and vanishing cream and it gets rid of my breakouts in a week(at the longest). They're kinda strong and some of my friends don't like them but if you're willing to feel a little sting then you should give them a try. They worked miracles on my skin!

I would suggest going to your dr right away just in case it is a deer tick containing Lyme disease bacteria or any co-infections. if you still have the tick bring it with you so it can be tested. also, keep an eye out for any bullseye rashes that may or may not appear at the bite. about 50% of people get the rash. with the current tests there is a 30-50% chance of a false negative, so most drs will put you on 1-2 weeks of doxycycine (antibiotic) as a precaution which I would highly recomend. I am on my second IV treatment for Lyme disease and hate to see anyone else have to suffer and try to spread awareness. Does foundation primer cover up redness?

It depends on the primer. Their are "tinted" ones that can reduce redness, undereye circles etc. I use Tarte's Clean Slate, it doesn't break me out but it's kind of pricey. If your wanting something a little cheaper I really like, Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing primer and Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Luminizing primer. Those are both clear though, NYX makes 2 different primers(main differences are container and one is HD while the other is not) and they both come in Green. The Green will counterbalance the Redness and you won't be red nor green :)

Which is the better foundation for matte , very full coverage skin ?

Okay , so I have decided that for senior year , I want to wear a full face of make-up every single day . I've always had a love and passion for make-up . I love it so much . I believe that it's an art form . Anyway , this summer , I'm going to be stocking up on products to use next year . I've got pretty much everything covered , except for foundation . I like really matte , really really full coverage . I don't really have acne , just have some blackheads in the chin and forhead area . I also have some redness . I just like the look of matte full coverage foundation . I've done some research and I've widdled it down to 2 foundations . I'm between M.A.C. Studio Fix or the Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage Foundation . Which one would be the best for my skin , considering it is pretty oily ? If the M.A.C. is better , then should I get the powder or the liquid ? . Also , what are some ways to help get rid of shine throughout the day ? Thank you :)

Yes based off of all this information he is in fact trying to manipulate you by guilt. It doesnt take a psychology major to know how to manipulate someone, all you really have to do is take any emotion (fear, sadness, anger, guilt, happyness, etc.) and use it to control someone. For example lets say i have a girlfriend and she wants to go out with a bunch of guys, and i dont want her to but i decide not to say anything straight forward, or decide to atleast ruin the night for her. If i wanted to manipulate her into not going or feeling bad by guilt I could say something like, "well have fun while im sitting alone here with nothing to do." Even if she really wanted to go there is no way she could have a good time if she cared for me because she would keep thinking about the comment i made and dwell on it, therefore I would be controlling her emotions, and actions which would be manipulating her. By threatening to not talk to you he is using a double whammy of Guilt and Fear. He is hoping that by letting you know that he doesnt want you to be with his friend, that you will feel guilty enough to not hang out with him. He is using fear in hopes that you would be afraid of him not talking to you anymore, so that you would stop talking to him. This guy is trying to be manipulating by controlling your emotions, and therefore controlling your actions but remember you can only be manipulated if you let them. My advice is next time he says something like this, do exactly what he doesnt want you to my reasoning for this is, first you dont want a manipulating guy in your life trust me all your life he will be controlling you and forming you to what he wants. My second reason is knowing manipulating people they are all bark and no bite, so he would never carry out his threats in the first place. Whew long answer for a long questions lol

My body usually has no imperfections, but dayummm my face is horrid! I have bumps on my face from acne and I wear powder foundation, but that doesn't cover up the bumps... and my face always looks pale because of the make up (I can change that obv.) but like I look so much better when I blend in the bumps. His ex wife = psycho!! help!!?

my husband has 2 ex wives. both of whom have caused problems in my relationship simply because of jealousy. My husband has 3 kids by these two women whom ive had a hand in raising for 5 years. we have been married for two. My question stems to the first ex wive,who he divorced nearly 15 years ago. she is the mother of my step son. We have been through EXTREME ups and downs with this crazy woman. And when i say crazy, its not just run-of-the-mill crazy, or me just being b*tchy because shes an ex. She is on medication for bi-polar disorder. she has called the cops on us before simply for not returning a phone call. my step son(15 at the time,now 16) has described to me what her bong looks like. He stated to me word for word "she has enough pills to run a pharmacy out of the house." He has inquired to us that his step dad through a coffee table at him.He came down one weekend and I asked him why he always wore sweat pants,never jeans or shorts. He told me because he didnt have any. We went out and bought some and sent them home(now mind you my husband paid nearly 10,000 in child support that year between the two ex wives. Where is this money going?) He has told me that he has to hide his earnings from lawn care,birthdays etc because she steals it for cigarettes. Or makes him pay the electricity bill with it. Or makes him pay gas money for her court ordered 50 % of the driving to my husband and Is house every other weekend.He has told me he recieved birthday money from a relative, and didnt even make it off the porch of their home before she took it from him.Recently i noticed his shoes which are nearly close to falling apart completely. When i asked him about this, he said his mother told him to just put some sealer on it.His social skills and lack of hygiene tell me alot about his home life. he can sit on a video game for well over 8 hours. He hates taking showers. I could go on and on! I hate that she is the way she is with him. my Question is, he is 16 and in 1 year will be legally allowed to move in with us,so were not bothering with lawyers. Does drinking water make your skin better/less oily?

well i have very oily skin and it makes my blackheads real bad and with foundation etc it just makes them worse, so i'm cutting down on makeup just using concealer and blush, do you think this will help? i'm also drinking more water and eating healthier, will this help with my skin and blackheads? anyway, does water make your skin better, look nicer and help reduce shine and oil? i really am trying everything to get rid of my blackheads, thankyou.

This is tough since they are all such meaningful names close to your heart. I would find a way to incorporate your father's name (most important) with your uncles'. Should I wear eyeliner or eyeshadow?

Okay, so my mom HATES me wearing makeup so I am only allowed to use a little bit. I'm planning to ask my mom to let me wear more makeup for the next school year. I don't wanna ask for too much or I know I will get a no, so I will ask in time. Besides all of the skin stuff (foundation, concealer, etc.) I only wear mascara. I'm not sure if I should ask to wear eyeshadow or eyeliner. If it was eyeshadow it would be neutral-ish (no bright pinks, purples,etc.) and if it was eyeliner it would be light. Why does nobody care about aids anymore?

Back when aids came out everyone was very afraid and cared alot about the sufferers with foundations and fundraisers. Now people barely even talk about aids, and people still die of it each year. Now like a fad everyone is doing fundraisers and such for cancer. I am not discrediting cancer because it is very sad but i feel as if they care so much About cancer they forgot about aids, as if it is a trend instead of a deadly disease. Vegetarian Freezer Meals?

I'm going to camp for a month and the food is unhealthy and gross, so I'm bringing my own food, but I don't want to be eating the same two things over and over. However, I'm also on a wheat free, sugar free diet, processed free diet, so everything has to have natural ingredients. I have access to a refrigerator and freezer, but don't want any meat items. Why are accommodations so expensive and require a minimum stay?

I was planning a day trip to a city about 250 miles away, but would require an overnight stay. I inquired about accommodation there. Some places require a minimum 3-night stay. One B&B said their rate was $300 and I figured that was for a week - WRONG! That was just for one night! When my dad was alive and the family traveled, it was considered a lot to charge $20 a night at the Holiday Inn. Where do they get off charging these exorbitant rates?

Having to force feed your lizard and how frequently should you do it.?

I know it can be dangerous and I shouldn't talk about it but a week past and we were worried about my baby Savannah monitor and it's attitude towards food. So we kind of force feed it a cricket, I felt this does harm but also does well think about it. If you can open it's mouth and put food down it, without it biting you or biting you hard since it's a baby it will get used to you when it's older and know your smell and how it differs to food. Possible hand feeding in the future I hope, IDK cause I want it to be happy and natural but it's also a pet and I need to keep it alive in order to enjoy it obviously no one likes a dead lizard. Is this harsh of me, also I am a new sav owner I have had pets before in the past. Several dogs,birds, and reptiles overall pets are taking care of by my family and I and we treat our pets well, we had a dog live with us for 12 years, A bird for idk how long maybe 5-6 years, several reptiles and my brother works in a lab in his school and knows about reptiles and we have had them in the past.
